NGTC Level 4 Gymnasts Do Well at Sectionals!

The 2009 Sectionals Championships for Level 4 gymnasts took place Saturday, November 14, 2009. And, to the delight of the coaches and parents, the NGTC girls Rocked!
The event was hosted by Precision Elite and included many girls competing from 12 different gyms.
Two champions:
Paige Ortiz: Beam 9.45, 1st Place
Ceanna Pang: Vault 9.525, 1st Place
Also doing very well:
Emily Schneider, 2nd Place Bars, 8.8
(complete and final standing result sheets have not yet been made available by the host gym.)
We are very proud of each and every one of the girls. Special congratulations also to Paige Ortiz for making the State All-Star Competition. Each of the girls proved to themselves that when they needed to rise to the occassion, they could, and did.
Unofficial totals for each of the girls is below:
Sydney Nielson: 34.1
Paige Ortiz: 36.85
Ceanna Pang: 36.475
Jessica Schaff: 35.825
Emily Schneider: 33.5
And, with an overall team score of 109.8, the team also recorded it’s highest overall team score of the season! Way to go girls! NGTC Rocks!
The MAC (Multnomah Athletic Club) was the overall team champion at this years event.
I think Paige and Ceanna should still get a banner for their firsts! Since Sectionals is their highest. Hehe!
